We would be lost without trees, they feed us in all we do. There are all sorts of things to be found in trees – things on a small scale and things on a vast scale (and everything in between). Leaf galls, twisted branches, mini-landscapes of lichen, unusual root formations, trees growing in unexpected places – they are all amazing. There are trees that twist themselves into patterns, trees that wrap themselves into knots, trees that grow up through other trees, trees that nestle into cliff faces and trees that have a face (or several)…
Trees tell a story – maybe someone left an offering there, possibly someone carved something, maybe passers-by placed coins there for luck… Trees are shaped by others – other trees, by people, by creatures and by the weather… Many small (and not so small) creatures live, shelter and feed in trees and they all leave a mark if you know just how to look… Trees tell amazing tales – and indeed they provide an amazing space to share tales and find inspirations…
